This article was previously published under Q308584 SYMPTOMS When you try to open an image file, you may receive the
following error message: Sorry, this file can't be
opened. CAUSE This issue can occur if the following conditions
are true:
- The file was created in Microsoft PhotoDraw 2000 version
2.
- The file has the file name extension ".mix."
RESOLUTION To work around this issue, save the image in a different
file format in Microsoft PhotoDraw 2000. You can use the suggested following
alternative graphic file formats: JPG, PCD, TIG, WMF, BMP, CDR, GIF, FPX, PCX,
PNX, or TGA.
