PIP2001: You Can Only Save Your Project As a Paper Project (308529)

SYMPTOMS

You can save your Paper project only in the Paper project format (.php). No other graphic formats are available. (Paper projects are projects other than Photo projects, Web projects, or E-mail projects.)

CAUSE

This behavior can occur because Paper projects can only be saved in the Paper Project format.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, paste your project to a Photo project, and then save it in the graphic format that you want. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. Save your open project in the available Paper projects (.php) format.
  2. Press CTRL+A to select all elements of your project.
  3. On the Edit menu, click Copy.
  4. On the File menu, point to New, and then click Blank Picture.
  5. Click Done.

    A new Photo project opens.
  6. On the Edit menu, click Paste.
  7. On the File menu, click Save As.
  8. In the Save as this type list, select the graphic format that you want, and then click Save.
