SYMPTOMS

After you remove an Advanced Technology Attachment (ATA) flash card from the PC Card slot and then attempt to place the computer in standby, your computer may stop responding (hang) and display an error message on a blue screen. This problem occurs only if two or more ATA flash cards are installed. The error message that occurs is:
An error has occurred. To continue:
Press Enter to return to Windows, or press CTRL+ALT+DEL to restart your computer. If you do this, you will lose any unsaved information in all open applications.
