You May Not Be Able to Sign Up for the Internet by Using a Modem (308131)

When you run the wizard to set up Internet access, you receive the following prompt:
Do you want help finding an Internet service provider?
When you click Yes, you may receive the following error message:
Unable to connect to the Internet. You computer is no longer connected to the Internet through your network.
CAUSE
This problem can occur if your computer contains two or more devices that are considered valid network adapters by Windows XP. For example if your computer contains a 1394 port or Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) network adapter along with a modem, or two network adapter cards, the wizard may attempt to use the wrong device to collect information about Internet service providers (ISPs). If the device the wizard attempts to use does not have Internet access, you receive the error message.
