  • Microsoft Windows XP Professional

This article was previously published under Q308125

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to play a game on Westwood Studios Online Gaming Zone with two computers that are on an Internet Connection Sharing (ICS) network, you may be disconnected after 5-10 seconds. Additionally, you may receive the following informational message on the client computer and on the computer that hosted the game:
Connection to computer name lost!
From Computer: It's just you and me now.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs if two clients (joining the game) or if one server (hosting the game) and a client are on the same Internet Connection Sharing network. This problem does not occur if one ICS client or server attempts to join or host a game or if a client from a completely different ICS network attempts to join or host a game.

NOTE: There can only be one computer on one ICS network connecting to the same game on Westwood Studios Online Gaming Zone.
