SYMPTOMS

When you try to run a game on Microsoft Virtual PC, the game may not run, may not run as expected, or may display a dialog box that states that the computer does not meet the requirements of the game.

CAUSE

Virtual PC does not meet the minimum requirements to run most games. For example, Virtual PC does not support 3D graphic hardware acceleration. This a standard video feature that is required by most games.

RESOLUTION

If your game requires a 3D video card, you will not be able to play that game on Virtual PC. If your game only requires a 2D video card, you may be able to play that game on virtual PC. See your game documentation or contact the publisher for more information about what your game requires.
