EFS Backup Functions May Not Work on Computers That Are Running Windows 2000 (307306)

You cannot use backup software to back up or restore an encrypted folder that is located in an unencrypted folder to which the backup operator does not have access.
CAUSE
This problem occurs because the OpenEncryptedFileRaw function that is called with the CREATE_FOR_DIR flag does not work on Windows 2000-based computers. The function returns error 32 (ERROR_SHARING_VIOLATION).
