"Page cannot be displayed" error message occurs when you try to open the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) documentation (307226)

When you install the Microsoft Developer Network (MSDN) documentation that is included with Visual Studio .NET, and then you attempt to open the documentation, you receive one of the following error messages:
Page cannot be displayed.
Action cancelled. No page to display. The index and search features work correctly but the pages do not display.
CAUSE
Information in the Temporary Internet Files folder causes errors in the HTML engine that displays the content. This behavior occurs if you installed previous beta releases of Visual Studio .NET on the computer.
RESOLUTION
Delete the files in the Temporary Internet Files folder. To delete the files, follow these steps:
- Close all programs and windows.
- In Control Panel, double-click Internet Options, and then click the General tab.
- In the Temporary Internet Files area, click Delete Files.
- In the History area, click Clear History, and then click OK.
- Close Control Panel, and then restart the computer for the changes to take effect.
