SYMPTOMS

When you right-click and then drag the shortcuts that you want to copy to the Quick Launch portion of the taskbar (the Quick Launch bar), you may find that all windows on the desktop are minimized. However, you are able to successfully copy the shortcuts to the Quick Launch bar.

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
