Importing or Exporting File Assemblies in COM+ Does Not Work Properly (306407)

SYMPTOMS

When you try to import or export single-file assemblies in COM+, and a previously generated .tlb file exists, the import or export may not work. Also, if you try to export multifile assemblies, the program exports only the manifest file into the installation package.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, obtain Microsoft COM+ Rollup Hotfix 15. For additional information, see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 3.
