Status of Transactions on a DTC Server Is Not Returned When You Use COM+ on C++ Servers (306405)

When you conduct a transaction over a Microsoft DTC server, the server tries to request a callback when the status of the transaction that is being processed is determined, but no response is returned.
CAUSE
This behavior occurs because there is no way to determine the status of the transaction while it is being processed when you use only COM+ resources on a C++ server.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this problem, obtain Microsoft COM+ Rollup Hotfix 15. For additional information, please see the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
