SYMPTOMS

When you try to use an ATI RAGE MOBILITY video adapter to turn on the DualView feature on a portable computer, the DualView option does not appear under Display Properties.

CAUSE

This issue occurs because the ATI RAGE MOBILITY video driver that is supplied with Windows XP does not support DualView.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, obtain an updated ATI RAGE MOBILITY video driver from ATI Technologies or from your hardware vendor.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
