SYMPTOMS

The French (Canadian) version of Outlook 2000 inaccurately displays tasks in your configured custom or default views.

RESOLUTION

A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to computers that are experiencing this specific problem. This fix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Microsoft Office 2000 service pack that contains this hotfix.

After you install the Microsoft Office 2000 Service Pack 2, the behavior described in the "Symptoms" section of this article still occurs. When you create a task for "this week" (without quotation marks) that is three days into the future, and you create another task for the next week, the task that is only three days away does not display in the current view when you filter and set it for this week "cette semaine" (without quotation marks).

This behavior does not occur in the English-language version of Outlook 2000.
