Explorer 5.5, you may be unable to view Java applets on Web pages. For example,
instead of the expected Java applet, you may see a blank, gray background.
CAUSE This behavior can occur if the Microsoft virtual machine
(VM) is damaged. RESOLUTION To resolve this issue, download and install the latest
version of the Microsoft VM. The latest version of the Microsoft VM is
available for download from the following Microsoft Web site:
