Windows Explorer does not work in Windows 98 after you uninstall Windows Millennium Edition (305670)

When you attempt to start Windows Explorer in Microsoft Windows 98, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
A device attached to the system is not functioning,
programs/moviemake/moviemk.exe missing export shell32.dll shgetfolder
This issue occurs when you right-click Start, and then click Explore.
CAUSE
This issue can occur when you uninstall Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me). The uninstall process may damage the Windows Explorer shortcut (C:\Windows\Explorer.exe).
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, create a new shortcut for Windows Explorer. To do this, follow these steps:
- Click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open box, type C:\Windows\Start Menu\Programs, and then click OK.
- Right-click Windows Explorer, and then click Delete on the shortcut menu.
When you receive the confirmation message, click Yes.
- Right-click a blank space in the Programs list of files, point to New, and then click Shortcut, on the shortcut menu.
- In the Create Shortcut dialog box, type C:\Windows\Explorer.exe, and then click Next.
- In the Select name for shortcut dialog box, type Explorer.exe, and then click Finish.
