SYMPTOMS

When you start Microsoft Internet Explorer, you may experience any of the following behaviors:
  • Internet Explorer uses GoHip! as its default search engine.
  • Internet Explorer uses GoHip.com as its home page.
  • You cannot change your home page from the GoHip.com page.
  • Additional browser or pop-up windows may open.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if the GoHip! Web browser enhancement from GoHip.com is installed on your computer.

RESOLUTION

To work around this behavior, remove the GoHip! Web browser enhancement from your computer. To do this, download and run the GoHip! browser enhancement removal program available from the following GoHip.com Web site: After you remove the GoHip! browser enhancement from your hard disk and restart your computer, Internet Explorer may continue to use the GoHip! page as its home page.
