The page cannot be displayed
There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed.

HTTP Error 500-12 Application Restarting
Internet Information Services

CAUSE

This issue can be caused by anti-virus software scanning. When anti-virus software scans a Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) Web program such as Microsoft Project Central, IIS may behave as if the Global.asa file has been modified and thus restart the Web program. During this time, a client attempting to connect to the Microsoft Project Central database receives the error message described in the "Symptoms" section of this article.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, configure the anti-virus program to exclude the Global.asa file from anti-virus scans.
