SYMPTOMS
When you attach the Visual C++ 6.0 debugger to a process, you receive the following error message:
Could not execute: Path not found(Win32 error 3).
When you click
OK in the error message dialog box, the process that is being attached is ended.
RESOLUTION
A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to correct the problem that is described in this article. Only apply it to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 service pack that contains this hotfix.
