SUMMARY

By default, the Favorites window is not visible in the Visual Studio .NET integrated development environment (IDE).

There are three ways to make the Favorites window appear:
  • From the View menu, point to Other Windows, and then click Favorites.
  • Press CTRL+ALT+F.
  • Use the Web tool bar:
    1. Right-click in the menu area, which by default is in the upper portion of the IDE, just below the "Microsoft Development Environment" title bar.
    2. Select Web in the resulting dialog box.
    3. When the Web tool bar appears, click the favorites icon.
To hide the Favorites window, click the close box in the upper-right corner of the window, or right-click the Favorites tab and click Hide from the context menu.

NOTE: Favorites from previous MSDN Libraries, such as MSDN Libraries for Visual Studio 6.0, are not available and will not be listed. Favorites saved from within Visual Studio .NET, MSDN Library, and Internet Explorer will be available.
