FIX: Must Enter DTS Package Name in Subscription Properties (305056)

SYMPTOMS
When viewing or modifying the properties of a subscription (push or pull), the Transformations tab is accessible regardless of whether the transactional publication is enabled for DTS. However, after the Transformations tab has been clicked, a value must be entered into the package name field before you can change to another tab in the properties.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for SQL Server 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the

WORKAROUND
You can work around this problem in the following ways:
- Click Cancel to exit out of the window.
- Enter a fictitious value in the field.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in SQL Server 2000. This problem was first corrected in SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 1.MORE INFORMATION
Service Pack 1 contains a fix for this issue, however, it allows the field to remain blank even if the publication is enabled for DTS, causing the agent to fail.
