When you use the Microsoft Server ActiveSync (MSAS) component of Microsoft Mobile Information Server 2002 to synchronize data in a Microsoft Exchange Server mailbox to a mobile device, subfolders of the Contacts folder are not downloaded and synchronized to the device.
MORE INFORMATIONThis behavior is by design.
MSAS does not support synchronization of subfolders of the Contacts folder. However, MSAS does support synchronization of subfolders of the Inbox folder.
