SYMPTOMS

When Active Directory Services Interfaces (ADSI) parses a syntax schema value for Description, if the Description contains nothing but a space, ADSI does not parse it during the schema parsing.

RESOLUTION

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Windows 2000. This problem was first corrected in Windows 2000 Service Pack 3.
