This article describes the extra files that are created when you install Windows Services for UNIX, version 2.2 OEM Only.
MORE INFORMATION
When you install Windows Services for UNIX, version 2.2 OEM Only, two extra files are created. These files are Sfupswd.msi and Pswdsync.dll.
The default OEM installation of Windows Services for UNIX, version 2.2 does not install the Password Synchronization feature. However, a user can install this feature by using the preceding files.
To install the Password Synchronization feature on a computer that is running Windows Services for UNIX, version 2.2, at a command prompt, type:
msiexec /I sfupswd.msi /qb addlocal="passwdsync".
For this command to work, the Sfupswd.msi file must exist in the folder from which you run the command. If the Sfupswd.msi file is in a different folder, include the full path (in your command).
Windows Services for UNIX, version 2.2 OEM Only is only available from OEMs. Windows Services for UNIX, version 2.2 is designed to be installed only on Windows-powered computers.
