SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to print a Microsoft Word document, you may receive the following error message:

CAUSE

This behavior can occur when all of the following conditions are true:
  • E-Stamp is installed on your computer.
  • You then remove E-Stamp from your hard disk.
  • Removing E-Stamp does not completely remove all files associated with the program. E-Stamp files remain in the Microsoft Office Startup, Microsoft Word Startup, or Temp folders on your hard disk.
As a result, you may receive the error message described in the "Symptoms" section when you attempt to print a Word document.
