OL2001: Outlook Remains Open After You Send a Message from Word (304405)

When you click the Send To command to send a message in Microsoft Word 2001 for Mac, the Outlook 2001 for Mac program does not completely shut down after the message is sent.
WORKAROUND
To work around this problem, create the message with the Send to Mail Recipient command in Word 2001, and then exit Word 2001.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
