Although the RosettaNet specification lists both MD5 and SHA-1 as options for digitally signing RNIF 1.1 documents, the BizTalk Server Accelerator for RosettaNet only implements MD5 for creating digital signatures on outgoing documents. The BizTalk Server RosettaNet parser and serializer can read both MD5 and SHA-1 on documents received from a trade partner.
