SYMPTOMS
When you use the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in to add a new user, you cannot type more than four characters in the
Initials box of the user properties. However, after you create the new user, you can type up to six characters in the
Initials box. This symptom occurs if all the following conditions are true:
- You use the Active Directory Users and Computers snap-in on a Windows 2000-based computer to add the new user.
- Your Windows 2000-based computer is running Windows 2000 Service Pack 2 (SP2) or earlier.
RESOLUTION
