CAUSE

This problem can occur if the resource mailbox that you invited is homed on a Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server computer that has not been correctly updated. When Exchange 2000 Server and Microsoft Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server are installed on separate computers, you must install the Meeting Access Pages component of Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server on the Exchange 2000 computer, and then update the Exchange 2000 computer with the correct version Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server service pack.

  1. Run Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server Setup on the Exchange 2000 computer that the resource mailboxes are homed on.
  2. Click to clear the check boxes for all of the components except Meeting Access Pages, and then continue with Setup.
  3. Install the correct version Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server service pack on the Exchange 2000 computer.
Note The service pack for Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server is different from the service pack for Exchange 2000 Standard or Exchange 2000 Enterprise Edition. • If you are using Exchange 2000 Server Service Pack 1, you must use Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server Service Pack 1.
  • If you are using Exchange 2000 Service Pack 2, you must use Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server Service Pack 2.
  • If you are using Exchange 2000 Service Pack 3, you must use Exchange 2000 Conferencing Server Service Pack 3.
