When you attempt to open, save, or print a drawing in Microsoft Visio 2000, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
Visio32 caused an Invalid Page Fault in EFGNPCLM.DRV at 0011:00
NOTE: The actual memory address varies.
CAUSE
This behavior can occur if you configure a Minolta printer as the default printer.
RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, configure another printer as the default printer. If you do not have another printer, create a "dummy" printer as the default printer. To do this, follow these steps.
NOTE: Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps. - Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
- In the Printers dialog box, double-click Add Printer.
- Follow the steps in the Add Printer Wizard to add a printer that uses a non-Minolta printer driver. Configure this printer as the default printer.
When you print in Visio 2000, select the Minolta printer in the Name list in the Print dialog box, and then click OK. NOTE: After following these steps, you will no longer be able to print to the Minolta printer by clicking the Print Page button (the printer icon) on the standard toolbar.
