you may have to enable logging for the Directory Service to Metabase
replication process. By default, this logging is disabled. This article
describes how to edit the registry to enable logging for the Directory Service
to Metabase replication process. As of Exchange 2000 Service Pack 2
(SP2) or later, you do not have to add this object in the registry. The key MSEXCHANGEMU already exists under the following registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services Additionally, on the Diagnostic
Logging tab of the Server object in Exchange System Manager there now
exists an object named MSEXCHANGEMU. When you increase the
logging level to Maximum, the value of the registry setting is
set to 5. If you have Exchange 2000 SP1 or earlier, you must still
manually add the registry keys by using the procedure that is in the "More
Information" section of this article.
