Screen Resolution Remains Low After You Log Off While Magic School Bus Program Is Running (303589)

When you log off from a Windows XP Professional session that is running Magic School Bus, thus forcing the Magic School Bus program to quit, the screen resolution may remain at 640 x 480 (game resolution) for all successive logons.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, either restart and then quit another session of the Magic School Bus program, or manually reconfigure the screen resolution.
To manually reconfigure the screen resolution:
- Right-click the desktop, click Properties, and then click the Settings tab.
- Under Screen resolution, set the resolution that you prefer.
- Under Color quality, set the color quality that you prefer.
- Click OK. At the prompt, if the new settings are what you want, click Yes. If you want to try another setting, click No, change to different settings, and then click OK.

In Windows XP Home Edition, if you switch from a logon session that is running a Magic School Bus program to a different logon session, and you then switch back to the first session, you may find that the Magic School Bus program has closed and must be reloaded.
