SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to view a movie or an animated demo in Microsoft Picture It! Publishing Help, you may receive an error message similar to the following:
M5drv32 caused an Invalid Page Fault in module Netfile.x32

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if a Shockwave Player component is damaged or missing.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, reinstall Macromedia Shockwave Player. To do this, follow these steps:
  1. To obtain the Shockwave Player, browse to the following Macromedia Web site:

    http://www.macromedia.com/downloads

  2. On the Downloads page, click the Macromedia Shockwave Player link under Macromedia Web Players.
  3. On the Macromedia Shockwave Player Download Center page, click INSTALL NOW under Get Macromedia Shockwave Player. If a "Security Warning" message appears, click Yes to install Shockwave Player.
  4. In the Welcome to Shockwave! dialog box that appears, click Next.
  5. Follow the steps to install the Shockwave Player.

    NOTE: If the installation is successful, a movie plays in the Installation Movie box on the Macromedia Shockwave Player Download Center page.
