SYMPTOMS

When you open a new window from within a Web page (a pop-up window or child window), the window contents are not read to you by your screen reader program.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if your screen reader program does not respond to the CreateWindow event that is fired when Internet Explorer loads a pop-up window.

RESOLUTION

Contact the manufacturer of your screen reader program for information about a possible update to resolve this issue.
