XADM: All X.400 Messaging Defaults Are Reset When You Upgrade from Exchange Server 5.5 to Exchange 2000 Server (303452)

Values that are modified on the Messaging Defaults tab on the message transfer agent (MTA) Site Configuration Object on a Microsoft Exchange Server 5.5 computer are reset to the default values when you upgrade to Exchange 2000 Server.
To view the messaging default settings for Exchange 2000 Server, look at the Messaging Defaults tab on the X.400 object under Protocols in the Exchange System Manager.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server.
