You may receive the following error message when you are using Veritas Netbackup software version 3.4 with the Columbia Data software Open File Manager driver.
STOP 0x0000007F (0x00000008, 0x00000000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
(UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP)
CAUSE
This issue occurs when you use Netbackup Version 3.4 - DataCenter version with Open File Manager software from Columbia Data. The problem is with the Otman5.sys driver, version 1.10:0.146.
RESOLUTION
This is a known issue with Veritas. The older driver for the Otman5.sys is incompatible.
Install the latest Jumble Pack from Veritas for Netbackup; this has updated Otman5.sys drivers. The Netbackup software is the DataCenter version.
The Jumble Pack is J0850645, which contains the following version of the
files:
Otman5.sys: 1.11.0.148
Otman4.sys: 1.11.0.148
Otmlapi.dll: 1.11.0.148
This fix is only for version 3.4 of Netbackup.
