To enable the Multiple Masters feature in PowerPoint 2001, follow these steps:
  1. On the Edit menu, click Preferences.
  2. Click the Advanced tab.
  3. Under Multiple masters, click to select the Enable multiple designs per presentation check box.
  4. If you want to enable the use of more than one slide master or title master in a presentation when you add slides from another presentation that uses a different design template, click to select the Keep design when copying slides between presentations check box.
  5. Click OK.
