SYMPTOMS

After you click either Use Search Companion in the Customize Search Settings dialog box or With Classic Internet search in the Search bar, the changes that you have made to how your browser conducts its search behavior with the Internet may not take effect.

WORKAROUND

To work around this behavior, restart Internet Explorer.
