SYMPTOMS

After you run the Commerce Server 2000 Transaction Data Import DTS task, the application event log may contain one or more of the following errors:

Error 32792: Commerce Server 2000 HRESULT: -2147217900, Minor Code: 170, Source: , Description

Error 32793: Commerce Server 2000 SQL Error: 170, Description: 42000

Error 32794: Commerce Server 2000 Error state: 1, Severity: 15, Server: xxx, Line#: xxx: Incorrect syntax near '.0000'

CAUSE

This DTS task generates invalid SQL queries when converting a value from the currency datatype to string.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Microsoft Commerce Server 2000. For additional information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

STATUS
