ACC97: "Access Can't Start the OLE Server" Error Message When You Try to Use Office Links Wizards (302962)

SYMPTOMS
When you try to use the Access 97 Office Links wizards, you may receive
the following error message:
Microsoft Access can't start the OLE server
However, you are able to export objects to other Office programs, for example to Microsoft Excel or to Microsoft Word, by clicking either Save As or Export on the File menu.
CAUSE
This error message can appear if the Wzmain80.mde file is corrupted. The Links wizards are part of this file.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this issue, rename the Wzmain80.mde file, and then reinstall and reregister Access:
- Search for the Wzmain80.mde file, and then rename the file to Wzmain80.old.
By default, the Wzmain80.mde file is located in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office folder. - On the taskbar, click Start, and then click Run.
- In the Open dialog box, type the following, and then click OK to reinstall and reregister Access: install path\setup.exe /y /r
