To install the Web Publishing Wizard, follow these steps:

NOTE: To install the Web Publishing Wizard, you must reinstall Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.

NOTE: Because there are several versions of Microsoft Windows, the following steps may be different on your computer. If they are, see your product documentation to complete these steps.
  1. Insert your Publisher 2000 CD-ROM.
  2. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
  3. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  4. Click the Install/Uninstall tab.
  5. On the list of installed programs, click Microsoft Internet Explorer 5, and then click Add/Remove.
  6. Repeat step 5 to remove Internet Tools.
  7. Click Add a component, and then click OK.
  8. In the list of components, click Web Publishing Wizard, and then click Next to finish the installation.
NOTE: If you do not have the Publisher 2000 CD-ROM, browse to the following Microsoft Web site to download the Web Publishing Wizard: To create a Web folder, follow these steps:
  1. Double-click My Computer.
  2. Double-click Web Folders.
  3. Double-click Add Web Folder.
  4. In the Add Web Folder dialog box, type the Uniform Resource Locator (URL) in the Type the location to add box.

    NOTE: If your Web Server requires a server name and password, you are prompted to enter this information.
  5. After you are connected and authenticated, and your Web folder is created, open the Web server.
  6. Start Windows Explorer.
  7. Browse to C:\Program Files\Web Publish.
  8. On the Edit menu, click Select All.
  9. On the Edit menu, click Copy.
  10. In the Web Folder box, click Edit, and then click Paste.

    This transfers your Web publication to the Web location that you specified in step 4.
  11. Start your Web browser, and then type the full URL in the Address box to view your Web publication.
