To import or link a Lotus Approach (.apr) file, follow these steps:
  1. Export the data from Lotus Approach into a format that is compatible with Microsoft Access 97.
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To import data, on the File menu, point to Get External Data, and then click Import.
    • To link tables, on the File menu, point to Get External Data, and then click Link Tables.
  3. In the Files of Type box, click the file format that you used to export the Lotus Approach data.
  4. Browse to the drive and folder where the exported file is located, double-click the file, and then follow the on-screen instructions.
