OL2000: Shortcut Does Not Work When You Insert Shortcut in Task (302745)

If you insert a shortcut to an item in the notes area of a task, the shortcut does not work as expected.
WORKAROUND
To prevent this problem from occurring, insert the item as an attachment:
- Place the insertion point in the notes area of a task, and then click Item on the Insert menu.
- Click the item from the folder list, click Attachment in the Insert as section, and then click OK.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed at the beginning of this article.
