OFF2001: Error Message: Microsoft Clip Gallery May Not Be Properly Installed on Computer (302620)

SYMPTOMS

After you install Office 2001 and the Value Pack, you may receive the following error message when you try to start any of the Office 2001 programs:
Microsoft Clip Gallery may not be properly installed on computer or you may not have enough memory to launch Microsoft Clip Gallery

CAUSE

This behavior occurs if you install the Value Pack before you start any of the Office 2001 programs.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, reinstall Office 2001 for Mac, start one of the Office programs, and then install the Value Pack. Follow these steps:
  1. Remove Office 2001. For instructions about how to do this, refer to the following article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:

  2. Reinstall Office 2001, and then start one of the Office programs.
