SYMPTOMS

In Outlook Mobile Manager, you can send a daily summary to your mobile device by clicking Overview, and then clicking Send Summary Now. You can also send a test message to check your connectivity by clicking My Device, clicking Connector, and then clicking Test Message. When you attempt to send a daily summary or test message, you may receive the following error message:
Mobile Manager cannot save your changes. Exit and restart Mobile Manager.
The wizard that is displayed appears to be sending a message to your device. If you quit and restart Outlook Mobile Manager, a wizard that appears to be sending a message to your device may be displayed again, but no messages are received on your mobile device.

CAUSE

This problem can occur if you lose connectivity to your Microsoft Exchange 2000 Server computer or the network in general.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, check network and Exchange 2000 server connectivity to make sure that you are not experiencing a network bandwidth problem or outage. Try to ping another computer, or ping the Exchange 2000 server to ensure that you can contacted the Exchange 2000 server.
