PRB: Unable to Drag Resource From SharePoint Portal Server into CMS Placeholder (302312)

SYMPTOMS

Neither the Site Builder nor the Web Author allow you to drag an item from SharePoint Portal Server into a Resolution or Content Management Server (CMS) 2001 placeholder.

RESOLUTION

To work around this problem, use any of the following methods:
  • Copy the item from SharePoint into a general Microsoft Windows location (such as the desktop), and then drag the copy into your placeholder.
  • Add the SharePoint item to a CMS resource gallery, and then drag the resource from the gallery into the placeholder.
  • Click the Insert Image toolbar button to insert an image from SharePoint into a placeholder manually when you use the Web Author.
