Placeholders Changing "Mailto" Links Text in the Resolution Web Author (302145)
The information in this article applies to:
This article was previously published under Q302145 SYMPTOMS
On a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-, a Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional-, a Microsoft Windows 2000 Server, or a Microsoft Windows 2000 Advanced Server-based computer, when you use the Edit Hyperlink tool in the Resolution Web Author to create a mailto link, "mailto" may appear in the link name in the placeholder.
For example, if you type Send Feedback in the placeholder, and then in the URL option of the Edit Hyperlink dialog box, you type mailto:name@company.com, note that when you return to editing the page, the linked text is displayed as "mailto:Send Feedback" on the screen.
RESOLUTION
To resolve this intermittent problem, delete the "mailto" content in the URL dialog box, and then re-submit the page.
