SUMMARY

Microsoft ActiveSync 3.0 is a desktop program and a device-side program that enables Windows CE-based devices to connect to a host PC and exchange information. ActiveSync also provides support for a variety of services. This added functionality allows a manufacturer to use ActiveSync to communicate with client devices, much like a Pocket PC does.
