To be eligible for the Microsoft Office 2001 for Mac Upgrade, you must be a licensed user of one of the following Microsoft products:

  • Microsoft Excel
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Office
  • Microsoft Works Macintosh Edition (version 4.0 or later)
Upgrades are currently allowed for any earlier version of Microsoft Office (Macintosh or Windows) to Office 2001 for Mac. This also applies to the standalone applications listed above.
