  • Microsoft BizTalk Server Accelerator for RosettaNet 1.0

This article was previously published under Q301214

SUMMARY

The BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet supports the RosettaNet Implementation Framework (RNIF) 1.1 specification as published by the RosettaNet organization. However, it does not support the RNIF 1.1 Technical for the use of file attachments.

MORE INFORMATION

When you are processing certain Partner Interface Processes (PIPs), such as 2A9, to exchange a product catalog, you may want to send an attachment that contains images of the products in the catalog. This functionality is not described in the RNIF 1.1 specification, but is specified in the RNIF 1.1 Technical Recommendation #1 - Use of File Attachments.

The BizTalk Accelerator for RosettaNet does not implement this recommendation. If an RNIF 1.1 message that has a file attachment is received by BizTalk, the message is not recognized by the BizTalk parser for RosettaNet messages.
