OL2001: Personal Address Book Is Not Removed Until You Restart Outlook 2001 (301141)

SYMPTOMS

When you use a profile that was originally used with a previous version of Microsoft Outlook Exchange Server Edition to start Outlook 2001 for Mac and you migrate addresses from the Personal Address Book (PAB) to your contacts, the PAB is still present in the Address Book list.

CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the Personal Address Book service must be present for the conversion.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this behavior, restart Outlook 2001 for Mac and the PAB is removed from the Address Book list.
